TeeHee HaLow (Long-Range Ethernet Bridge)

TeeHee HaLow provides a long-range wireless connection to any device that supports IP protocol, including cinema camera bodies. With an uncompromising metal chassis and features for even the most advanced users, TeeHee HaLow brings sub-1GHz wireless infrastructure to the masses.

Please note that you must make the following product selections according to your needs:

  • Region: Most countries, including the US and Canada, will utilize the frequency range provided by the standard “US” TeeHee HaLow variant. For European customers, please select the EU option from the dropdown when you preorder. (At this time, HaLow is not an allocated frequency block in the UK—but UK customers can still use the original TeeHee over normal WiFi.) While TeeHee HaLow does not require you to purchase multiple units to function, please keep in mind that any complementary hardware must run software that offers traditional AP/client connection ability and also operate within the HaLow frequency range for your region.   • UPS: Like the original TeeHee, TeeHee HaLow is available with an optional internal UPS that provides approximately five minutes of uptime once external power is removed. The built-in battery smooths over external battery swaps and eliminates network connection downtime by avoiding unnecessary power cycles.

 

Includes TeeHee HaLow, HaLow antenna and a standard one year DOT LOL, INC. warranty. Accessories like the TeeHee MagSafe Adapter along with data and power cables are available on their respective product pages.

At this time, I am not selling any “kits” to assemble TeeHee HaLow yourself, so you will have to source machined enclosures from your own vendor. Eventually I would like to design a 3D printed enclosure that is robust and reliable—but, ya know, only so much time. If you’re interested in voluntarily designing a 3D printed enclosure for this project and sharing it with the community, please contact me.
