To celebrate the recent launch of TeeHee HaLow, existing TeeHee owners may upgrade their units so they will function on the HaLow frequency. Upgrade hardware will be allocated after TeeHee HaLow preorders close. Alongside sales of new units, there will be a parallel queue for upgrades that will be fulfilled in the order of the initial date the upgrade request was submitted by the customer. While TeeHee HaLow does not require you to purchase multiple units to function, please keep in mind that any complementary hardware must run software that offers traditional AP/client connection ability and also operate within the HaLow frequency range for your region. Please keep in mind if you plan to only use TeeHee HaLow units in your new deployment, you will need one unit allocated as the access point (AP), and if that unit is replacing what was formerly a Ruckus or similar AP, your total available field units will be reduced by one.

In order to be eligible for this limited-time upgrade offer, returned units must be in fully operational condition with all components functioning like normal. The existing enclosure and components, including the UPS and battery (where applicable), will remain intact; the primary PCB will be replaced with a brand new equivalent, and a new antenna will be provided that operates within the HaLow frequency range. Please note that any existing tangible components being upgraded and/or replaced by DOT LOL, INC., including but not limited to PCB’s and antennas, will become the property of DOT LOL, INC. and will not be returned to the customer once the upgrade has been successfully completed. The warranty on upgraded units will be valid until 12/31/25. This upgrade program is open to all existing TeeHee owners, including those who reside outside the United States.

This upgrade replaces traditional WiFi frequencies from your existing TeeHee unit(s) with WiFi HaLow, and you will no longer be able to use TeeHee HaLow to wirelessly connect to 2.4GHz or 5GHz hardware. This special upgrade offer is nonrefundable and irreversible once completed on a returned unit. Customer must be the original owner and pay upfront per unit for each upgrade. The upgraded unit will not contain an internal UPS unless the existing TeeHee already has an internal UPS; a UPS may not be added à la carte as part of this program. Existing units must be physically in the possession of DOT LOL, INC. no later than 12/31/24 to be eligible for upgrade.* Upgrade price of $300 includes outgoing shipping cost of upgraded unit(s), but the customer is solely responsible for returning existing units per the conditions listed. DOT LOL, INC. reserves the right to refuse upgrade service to any returned units that do not meet upgrade criteria, including but not limited to deformed chassis or unauthorized modifications.
