The Original Made-for-Camera-Control Bridge Now Goes Even Further

makeyourown.lol is excited to announce a new version of TeeHee that contains 802.11ah hardware, popularly known as Wi-Fi HaLow. A standard published by the IEEE in 2017, HaLow operates at a lower frequency than today’s common household WiFi. HaLow is the perfect solution for any crew member on set who needs to create a stable and far-reaching wireless network connection between two or more devices—perfect for camera control and beyond. With variants including an EU-specific model in addition to an optional UPS for zero-downtime camera control, TeeHee HaLow is ready to thrive everywhere, from mobile devices to remote shooting locations.
TeeHee HaLow builds on the prescient success of TeeHee, launched in 2023. With an iconic aluminum chassis, simple configuration and unparalleled reliability, TeeHee has been deployed on film sets across the globe since its release last year. TeeHee has undergirded the creative vision on set by allowing camera department crew members to focus on the storytelling that dovetails cinematography. Now, TeeHee HaLow is ready to offer wireless network connectivity to even more crew members at an accessible price point.
Since TeeHee first launched, store.sampetrov.lol relaunched as makeyourown.lol and added universal open-source and Creative Commons licensing to every active product—which now includes TeeHee HaLow. TeeHee HaLow is available to preorder immediately at a special preorder price, starting at $400 per unit. TeeHee HaLow will begin shipping on September 16, with an MSRP starting at $450. Once preorders conclude, volume pricing will be available to studios and rental houses. To recognize the customers who have supported the TeeHee project since its inception, makeyourown.lol is offering a limited-time TeeHee Upgrade Program for current owners of TeeHee to repurpose their existing TeeHee hardware and have it modified to function at HaLow frequencies.
