All items listed for sale on makeyourown.lol are custom made and fabricated on demand once an order is placed. Cancellations are only accepted if the customer cancels their order within the same day of placing it, otherwise fabrication has already begun.
Because the majority of items I make are fabricated on demand, returns are not accepted unless a product exhibits a demonstrable issue acknowledged by all parties. If a return is deemed acceptable by the seller, the item must be postmarked or otherwise provably returned within 14 calendar days of the original purchase date for a full refund, minus any applicable restocking fees. The buyer is responsible for any return shipping costs incurred.

Most domestic orders will ship via USPS or UPS. The most economical courier is determined based on the order’s overall dimensions and weight. If you require expedited shipping or local pickup in Los Angeles, please email sales@sampetrov.lol.
International shipping is accessible via dropdown on the checkout page. In order for the international shipping option to appear, please ensure you have entered your local mailing address that is outside the United States. Most international orders will ship via UPS.
Any applicable customs or import taxes and fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer. I work as closely as possible with the customer to ensure items are not delayed or returned upon reaching international customs.
All products offered on makeyourown.lol are made to be handled under normal conditions on film sets and beyond.
All power and data cables are hand-tested thoroughly for polarity and/or data transmission prior to shipment to avoid out-of-the-box issues. For any cable (video, data or DC power), if it arrives DOA and has no visible physical damage due to shipping or use, you can email sales@sampetrov.lol within 24 business hours of delivery to arrange a replacement or refund.
The customer must verify their exact device’s power polarity for input as well as voltage and electrical current requirements. DOT LOL, INC. waives any liability to damages that may have occurred due to “user error,” lack of research or general unawareness.
For 3D printed items, some very minor blemishes may be present. This is normal: 3D printing is not injection molding, and it’s not a perfect manufacturing process; very minor imperfections are unfortunately a reality. Similar to cables, all 3D printed items undergo a thorough individual cleaning and manual inspection process prior to shipment. In prioritizing quality, if a 3D printed item does not meet structural and visual standards for sale, it will be reprinted and may cause an order delay rather than shipping and causing an unhappy customer with an earlier delivery of a subpar product.
All products contain a limited one-year warranty from date of purchase that solely covers manufacturer defects. No warranty is provided if any product sold by DOT LOL, INC. is used improperly. Any peripheral damage caused while using a DOT LOL, INC. product shall be the sole responsibility of the customer.
In cases where a warranty is invoked, it is incumbent upon the customer to prove that the issue is hardware-based and cannot be rectified by software. DOT LOL, INC. does not warrant that devices which may act as constituents of larger digital infrastructures, such as network devices, shall function alongside pre-existing networks or configurations. DOT LOL, INC. does not extend support for software-side configuration profiles, alterations or customizations that may enable a particular product to integrate properly with existing third-party hardware and software, including but not limited to camera bodies, wireless access points or pre-owned cables.

While customer service is a priority, DOT LOL, INC. reserves the right to limit or refuse customer service to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction and may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. In order to provide the best service possible, the customer is obligated to provide necessary documentation, including requested screenshots, pictures or other evidence delineating any “issue” they believe to be present. If the issue is deemed by DOT LOL, INC. to be tertiary and not directly related to the first-party product (hardware or software), DOT LOL, INC. has no obligation to provide or continue to provide support.
